1720 is a multi-purpose venue at E. 16th Ave in Los Angeles’ warehouse district, founded by musicians Alex Alereza, Brett Powell and Travis Richter. Brownies and Lemonade held the venue’s first event in late 2017. A movable stage allows the space to accommodate club parties and live bands, with programming spanning dance, hip-hop and rock-related styles, including metal and punk. Its bookings have ranged from underground to mainstream acts.

The venue has capacity for about 700 people and a sound system with L-Acoustics K2 mains and SB218 subwoofers, alongside an Avid SC48 front-of-house console. Events there have been run by 1720warehouse and System Error. Monty, Visages, Alix Perez and Eprom are among the artists who have performed at 1720. In-house catering is provided by Los Angeles-based KTCHN DTLA, and drinks include craft cocktails and beer.
