24 Kitchen Street is a mixed-use event space on Kitchen Street in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle. Founded in 2011, it occupies a warehouse with exposed timber rafters and bare brick walls. The building was later reconstructed around its cast-iron columns, with two acoustically isolated club rooms arranged across separate floors. It holds about 400 people.
The programme spans house, techno, garage and drum and bass, alongside live music, comedy, poetry, exhibitions and workshops. Promoters running events there include SubHarmonic, Jungle Cakes and Static Events Uk; the venue also hosts local crews and international artists, and features regularly at Liverpool Sound City. Mandidextrous, adamine, Ashworth and Donya B Bass are among the artists who have played there. In 2019, a campaign opposed nearby housing development, and Liverpool City Council accepted that sound-system changes and insulation at neighbouring flats could help the venue and residents coexist.
