45 East

Located at 315 SE 3rd Avenue in Portland’s Central Eastside, 45 East occupies a two-storey warehouse-style building with exposed brick and industrial fittings. Earlier nightlife businesses in the building included Meow Meow, Rotture and Branx. Meow Meow hosted the first PDX Pop Now festival in 2004. Rotture and Branx shut in July 2015, and the complex reopened later that month as Euphoria. By late 2016, the nightclub was operating as 45 East.

The main room has a dance floor and a VIP section facing the stage, while a covered upper-level balcony overlooks downtown Portland. Upstairs, the Jade Room has a bar, DJ booth and dance floor of its own. The club presents electronic music, including house, techno, drum and bass, and dubstep. Artists who have performed there include Dieselboy, Camo & Krooked, Mefjus and Sully. In June 2021, 45 East resumed indoor events with a performance by Ace Aura.
