93 Feet East

93 Feet East is a live music and club venue on Brick Lane in Shoreditch, London, within the Old Truman Brewery. Established in 1999, it occupies a Grade II listed building whose oldest sections date to the 1830s, when it was built as a home for the brewery’s chief engineer. The name refers to a courtyard marker showing the extent of the Truman, Hanbury, Buxton & Co. freehold.

The venue has a Main Room and Live Room, alongside a courtyard, first-floor terrace, Members’ Bar and Gallery Bar. Its capacity is about 800. Funktion One systems have been used in the Main Room and Live Room, as well as the Members’ Bar. A 2018 refurbishment retained a d&b audiotechnik system in the Bar, installed a new one in the Hall and moved the Bar’s DJ booth to a central, lower position. Sound and lighting were upgraded again in 2024.

Electronic music and live performances share the programme, with events run by external promoters including Impact Promotions, Bass Camp LDN, Proelium Audio and Slanky®. The in-house 93 Degrees night focuses on UK house music and local artists. Secretsundaze began its residency at the venue in the early 2000s; Fuse, founded by Enzo Siragusa, started there in 2008 and became a Sunday residency. Artists who have played include Visionobi, dogger, foxi and Mindstate. In October 2024, Fuse returned for a run of Sunday sessions.
