Abaton

Abaton stood at Na Košince in Prague 8-Libeň, occupying a former factory hall as a live-music venue and drum-and-bass club. Its layout included several rooms and bars, with different music programmes across the spaces, a beer hall below and a stage upstairs. Free Mondays began there on September 12, 2005, as a recurring programme of live bands and DJs. The opening party that month featured Khoiba and Skyline.

Let It Roll held events at Abaton, which served as the festival’s venue until 2008 as it moved to larger spaces during its growth. Performers at the club included Nicky Blackmarket, General Levy, Remarc and Ray Keith. The club closed in October 2011.
