Astoria

Astoria is a club at Via Claudio Luigi Berthollet 13 in San Salvario, Turin. Gabriele Guazzo is one of its founders and has also managed the club. The venue began in 2011 after Guazzo and others had DJed as Xanax Party at the Murazzi and organised events and concerts elsewhere. Early programming paired concerts with DJ sets focused on independent and alternative music from Italy and abroad. Astoria reopened in April 2025 under Wired Productions’ artistic direction, with electronic music and emerging DJs taking a larger role.

An upstairs cocktail bar overlooks the basement performance room, which holds about 150 people. Renovations ahead of the reopening added sound insulation and a new L-Acoustic system, and gave the interior an industrial look influenced by Berlin clubs. Astoria hosted the Xanax Party collective and Club to Club events, with Grimes, Ben UFO and Cosmo among the performers. Capogiro has promoted events there, and AMRED and IDJayy have also played at the venue.
