Basing House

Basing House is a club at 25 Kingsland Road in Shoreditch, London, near the road’s southern end. The pub at the address previously traded as Titles Nite Spot and On the Rocks before taking the Basing House name in June 2010, the year the venue opened.

Its 300-person room uses a Funktion-One system, with speakers and subwoofers in a four-point arrangement. A roof terrace serves as a smoking area. External promoters and labels curate a programme spanning house, techno, disco, garage, dubstep and drum and bass; nights have been run by Basing House, 1RipsDj, dnb family and Vibez. Artists to play there include DJ Hype, Nicky Blackmarket, Ray Keith and Flying Lotus. Other performers have included Sasha and Maya Jane Coles.
