Beben

Beben is a concert and DJ venue at Hintere Bleiche 8 in Mainz, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Previously known as Alexander The Great, the premises underwent four months of renovation before Beben’s official opening on September 5, 2025; a test opening took place on July 19. Wood salvaged from Alexander the Great was used for the furniture and stage. The venue has capacity for about 150. Its programme spans electronic music, indie, drum and bass, hip-hop, metal and rock, alongside live concerts; parties have also covered techno and R&B. Dom Waits has promoted events there, while Lilak Mind, Minzkönig and Lora are among the artists to have played.
