Bolsjefabrikken is a volunteer-run cultural house and free space at Ragnhildgade 1 in Copenhagen Ø. It began in 2005 in a former candy factory and became a formally established association in 2008 at Glentevej 8b, operating as a non-profit, non-commercial cultural space. From 2009, it ran at Lærkevej 11 until the building was sold and the venue closed in September 2013; some activities then carried on at Ragnhildgade.
The Ragnhildgade site has a ground-floor performance space and café, along with rehearsal rooms, workshops, media facilities and a co-working office. Its capacity is about 800, and its two rooms are used for sound-system events. Activities include concerts, café nights and artist workshops, with music ranging from dub to jungle, drum and bass, footwork and breakbeats. Dubfabrikken is an underground dub club organised by dub activists and led by Doktor Lond and Most High Warriahs with guests; Breakbeat Therapy features jungle, drum and bass and breakbeats. Artists who have played there include RMZ, RDG and N.E.GIRL. Bolsjefabrikken invested in a sound system for the performance hall, while reporting in 2013 that it still rented equipment for some events.
