Bootshaus

Bootshaus is an electronic music club at Auenweg 173 in Cologne-Deutz, in a harbour building once used to store ships and boats. It grew out of the Cologne techno venue Warehouse, and the Loonyland party series run by Ulrich Rauschenberger and Sascha Weber shaped its early bookings. Rauschenberger still handles bookings, and Fabian Thylmann became owner in 2012.

The club has four areas and holds about 1,800 people. Its Main Floor ran on Funktion-One from 2012 until February 2024 and now uses an L-Acoustics system, with a permanent 360-degree setup added in 2026. Bootshaus presents EDM, drum and bass, trap, techno and trance, with events by the club itself and Liquicity, and Netsky, Chase & Status, Knife Party and Flux Pavilion have played there. It won the LEA Award for Club of the Year in 2019.
