Cafe Central

Cafe Central is located at Borgval 14 in Brussels, in a spacious, deep room with wood-paneled walls. Concerts and DJ sets take place daily, while Sunday film screenings feature cult classics and contemporary independent films. In 2008, DJs played there as often as five times weekly, and dancing was especially common on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The venue has also presented exhibitions, and its music programming spans raw, alternative and experimental sounds. Promoters who have organized events there include Drum & Beer and Bankizz a.s.b.l.; the venue has also hosted a recurring sound-system series. Artists who have played there include Cellarman, MC Tasty and Micronox.
