Circus Tokyo · Tokyo, Japan
14:00 – 21:00
Circus Tokyo opened in Shibuya in October 2015 as an outpost of Osaka’s Club Circus. It took over the former Amate-Raxi premises after the previous club closed in August that year. The venue is at 3-26-16 Shibuya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, away from Shibuya’s central club area.
The basement contains the main floor, equipped with Void Acoustics Tri Motion speakers and Arcline 218 subwoofers; Pioneer XY speakers serve the first-floor lounge. It operates as a club and live-event space, with rentals also accommodating exhibitions and other events. Its varied programming centres on underground dance music, spanning techno, house, bass music and drum and bass, as well as electronic live acts. Promoters running events there have included CIRCUSOSAKA, Beginning Tokyo, LATEBRA and Assemble Univ.
Artists who have played at the venue include SAKO, Azumai, Fonts and Altemica. On October 4, 2025, Circus Tokyo marked its tenth anniversary with an outdoor event in Odaiba.
