Concorde 2

Concorde 2 is a live music venue and nightclub at 286A Madeira Drive on Brighton's seafront. Its Grade II listed Victorian building began as the shelter hall for the Madeira Lift, which carried passengers down from Marine Parade from 1890, and it later served as a tearoom, reading room, bikers' café and amusement arcade.

Fatboy Slim was the first performer when the building became a music venue, and it was the original home of his Big Beat Boutique club night. Today the fully standing venue runs live shows and club nights across a broad range of styles, with an L-Acoustics sound system. Moby, Coldplay, The White Stripes and Amy Winehouse are among the acts that have played there, and Concorde 2 marked its 25th anniversary in 2025.
