control

control is a club on Str. Constantin Mille in Bucharest, Romania, with live events and DJ performances spanning punk, goth, techno, dark disco, indie, alternative, house and funk. It opened in 2008 and moved to its present address in 2011, taking over space beneath a bistro in a former ballroom.

Its programme includes the Black Rhino Residency, a bass-music and sound-system culture series; a September 2025 edition used a Riddim Bandits 6-scoop system. Artists who have played there include Dom & Roland, Joule, Dragos Rusu and FAUST. Miley Serious has also played at control.
