DnB XL: The ADE Edition
Der Hintergarten · Amsterdam, Netherlands
23:59 – 05:00
Der Hintergarten was an events venue on Overschiestraat in Riekerhaven, Amsterdam Nieuw-West, built among warehouses and railway lines. It opened in 2022 with an events space, restaurant and Radio Hinter radio station, and received an official city permit in 2024. The project was developed on a self-built site; construction plans eventually prevented it from staying there.
The venue had a capacity of about 1,300, with three spaces that included two stages, a cocktail bar, beer garden, food court and outdoor stage. Its facilities also included a radio studio, and the site hosted multimedia art installations and sculptures alongside private events and public festivals. Music events were run by DnB XL, Slim Radio, Max Molducci and EnergyEvents, while Kraft und Licht organised outdoor festivals. Artists who played there included Demolition Man, Potential Badboy, The Prototypes and Janaway. Der Hintergarten closed on 7 December 2025.
