Dom Technika · Poznan, Poland
22:00 – 06:00
Dom Technika is a club in central Poznań, at Wieniawskiego 5/9. It occupies the basement of a building completed in 1963 for Poland’s National Technical Organization, designed by Henryk Jarosz, Jerzy Liśniewicz and Jan Wellenger. The club opened as a techno venue in February 2019, after electronic-music club NOT closed at the end of December 2018. The name recalls the building’s former purpose. Its opening weekend included sets by No Moon and Sam Astbury, associated with London label X-Kalay.
Two dance floors and two bars sit within a venue with capacity for about 200. Its electronic programme spans techno, house, bass, dubstep, dub and jungle. BassTrip and Kazu Kontra1 have run events there, while Frequency and Otchłań are among its recurring series. Artists who have played include Nectax, Fixate, Law and Optical. A November 2024 dub and jungle event featured the Astral RootZ and Killah sound systems.
