Druckerei Solothurn is a club at Zuchwilerstrasse 23 in Solothurn, Switzerland, near the railway station. It occupies the former Vogt-Schild printing works, whose older section dates to 1913 and was used to store sugar during the First World War. The Solothurner Zeitung was printed there after the wider media complex was built around the historic structure in 1987; printing transferred to Derendingen in 2006. The club opened on 1 November 2024, with two floors and a foyer in the historic section.
The larger floor, Rollenlager, holds more than 300 people and has a Seeburg four-point system with a custom bass array and over 60,000 watts of power. Presswerk accommodates 150, with a bespoke four-point system rated at 20,000 watts peak. The foyer was once a loading ramp, where newspapers and magazines were moved directly into railway wagons. The venue’s electronic programming includes techno and melodic techno, and its own label, Eclipse, focuses on those styles. Druckerei Solothurn has run events there; artists who have played include Hypatia, Maddy V, Rosa Pagano and FJUSHA.
