Egg London

Egg London is a nightclub in a former Victorian warehouse at 5–13 Vale Royal, in King’s Cross, London. Founded by Laurence Malice, it opened in 2003. In 2024, management passed to Ali Bee and Sen Jay, operating as Chapter 1 Creations, and the venue underwent a major renovation.

The club has three indoor rooms, the Ground Floor, Middle Floor and Loft, alongside three outdoor areas, with capacity for about 900. The Middle Floor has a low ceiling and a KV2 sound system; the Loft’s system was upgraded to d&b Audiotechnik in 2024. Egg’s programme centres on house and techno, with other electronic dance music, and promoters including LDN DV8 Bass Face, Onedelight, beepr and Deevstock have run events there. Artists who have played include Nizan, Pizza Hotline, Rodderz and Flame Jade. Before its 11th anniversary in 2014, Egg fitted every room with a custom-built Flipside sound system. DJ Magazine named Egg London Best Large Club in its Best of British awards in 2017. What Came First, an electronic music label established by people behind the venue, began in 2016.
