elipamanoke

elipamanoke is a club on Markranstädter Straße in Leipzig’s west. It began in 2007 as a micro-club on Zschochersche Straße, initially combining DJ events with rehearsal and studio space. In March 2012 it moved to larger premises on Markranstädter Straße. Its early programme included Motttschnitt, a monthly Friday series organised by internet radio station Mottt.fm.

The venue has two main spaces: the Eli-Floor and the basement room XXS Kronik, with capacity for more than 400 people. The Eli-Floor’s Danley Soundlabs system has four tops and six bass cabinets; XXS Kronik has six tops and eight bass cabinets, with its DJ booth at the centre. Since September 2024, the Eli-Floor booth has also stood centrally, enabling two DJs to play face-to-face.

Techno, house and related electronic music form the main programme, alongside emerging artists and niche genres. elipamanoke, 2 Guys 1 Dub and Dark Drum&Bass Convention have all run events there. Artists to have played include Snarecrow, Cuepric, Snapix and nohlim.
