10 Year Anniversary: Soul Deep x Smooth N Groove Records
Ember Music Hall · Richmond, United States
21:00 – 02:00
Ember Music Hall opened in July 2023 in downtown Richmond, Virginia, at 309 East Broad Street. LX Group partners Kunal Shah, Neal Patel, and Aditya Mehta developed the venue by joining two storefronts and taking out the wall between them. It sits near Jackson Ward, four blocks west of The National. Early programming moved among rap and hip-hop, country, alternative rock, and electronic dance music, with EDM a particular focus. C.A.M.P.O.S. played there in its first months.
With capacity for about 500, the venue has a standing-room main area, a stage, a sound system, and over 100 LED screens. Elevated VIP areas offer reserved dining and bottle service, alongside other dining options and two green rooms. Ember Music Hall books talent internally and offers touring artists back-end and door deals. Events have been run by LXGRP, Turnstyle, VaporVA, and Smooth N Groove Records; performers have included Doc Martin, Tommy 2600, Pictureplane, VAPERROR, and Madcap.
