Stamina presents Winslow
F8 1192 Folsom · San Francisco/Oakland, United States
22:00 – 02:00
F8 1192 Folsom is a multi-room nightclub on Folsom Street in San Francisco’s SoMa neighbourhood. Before taking the F8 name, the address housed Icon Ultra Lounge and then operated as 1192 Folsom. After Icon closed, General Manager Rafael Fierro redesigned the venue; the name refers to Folsom and Eighth, as well as fate.
The layout includes a bar, a dance floor and a separate back room decorated with murals. Its capacity is 250, and it uses a custom-made sound system. The music ranges across house, hip-hop, techno and drum and bass. Housepitality, a weekly Wednesday house and techno party led by Michael Tello and Miguel Solari, and the weekly Sunday drum and bass event Stamina have both run there. Promoters include F8 Presents, RaveGrave, f8sf and Steven Cady. Artists who have played include Submorphics, Method One, Mr. Carmack and G-Jones.
