Fållan

Fållan is a concert and club venue at Hallgränd 19 in Johanneshov, within Stockholm’s Slakthusområdet district. Its operator, Huset på Berget AB, was established in 2015 alongside a concert and cultural venue at Nobelberget in Sickla. Fållan began operating in temporary Slakthusområdet premises in December 2019, but those premises were demolished at the end of 2022. In spring 2024, the venue relocated nearby to larger, renovated permanent premises.

Conversion of the post-industrial building started in 2020, and its architecture reflects the area’s industrial past. The venue has two indoor stages, with sound and lighting equipment; the main stage has a D&B V-series system, motorized rigging points and integrated lighting. A U-shaped balcony overlooks that stage beneath a ceiling 7.5 metres high. The venue’s capacity is about 2,000 people.

Its programme includes club music, hip-hop, indie and hard rock, alongside concerts and smaller festivals. Performers at Fållan have included LTJ Bukem, Roni Size, Nas and Fever Ray. Contralux, eDNA and Koicha Collective are among the promoters that have held events at Fållan. The venue belongs to the Kulturarenor group, which also includes Trädgården and Eden.
