Fitzroy

Fitzroy is a club in Berlin-Mitte, beside the Spree at Holzmarktstraße 15. It opened in 2018 in an empty warehouse next to LARK, becoming the second club run by the team behind that venue after they secured the lease. The space has a designed lighting setup and sound system, and is wheelchair accessible and smoke-free.

Its programme spans electronic music, hip-hop and pop, alongside concerts, club nights, fundraisers, workshops and panels. Workshops and events for musicians are organised in cooperation with LARK, while panels have been hosted for Clubcommission, Clubtopia, Music Pool and Stadt Nach 8. Promoters running events there include Midgar, All My Friends and Keep Hush. Artists who have played Fitzroy include Nkisi, Vera, Roza Terenzi and Robert Owens. Its programming also supports niches in Berlin’s music scene, including indie music and communities focused on modular synthesis.
