Flash

Flash is a three-level club at 645 Florida Ave, NW, in Washington, DC. It opened in June 2013 as a collaboration between music enthusiasts, former DJs and music-industry professionals. Its spaces are the Club Level, the ground-floor Flash Bar and the rooftop Green Room, each with a DJ area.

The Club Level has a dance floor, bar and bench seating, alongside an acoustically treated room, a custom Funktion-One system and a lighting rig. Flash Bar has its own dance floor, bar and DJ area, as well as a coat check, ATM and additional restrooms. The all-weather rooftop has a retractable glass roof, bi-fold doors, bench seating and a 12-point Funktion-One system, with views south across Washington.

Friday and Saturday programming brings national and international DJs playing electronic music, including deep house and techno; other styles feature on additional nights. Promoters include Essential Bass, Essential Freaks and Flash. Ray Keith, Harper, Ant TC1 and Nookie (UK) have played there.
