Forge

Forge is a club and events venue at Șoseaua Pantelimon 1A in Bucharest’s industrial district, opposite Obor Market. It occupies a former Romanian steel factory, with the building’s industrial character retained, and opened around May 2024. Founder Vali had organised parties, including outdoor events, before the venue began operating.

The site combines an indoor hall and Piperoom with an outdoor courtyard and wooden terrace, with stages inside and outside. Its facilities include a mezzanine, food area, two bars and the Engine Room; capacity is about 1,200. The sound system is by CODA Audio, and the terrace is built for use across the seasons.

Forge began with minimal-music parties before expanding through collaborations with event organisers. Its programming has included drum and bass, techno, rock and rap, as well as breaking gatherings and experimental live performances. Safe&Sound began holding drum-and-bass raves at Forge roughly six months after its opening, and Supersanity collaborated with Tresor Berlin on an event there. EnKore, Euphoria Underground and Solidago have also organized events. Artists who have played include The Upbeats, Mefjus, Anaïs and Circadian. Charlie and Vlad Arapasu are Forge residents.
