Fuchs2

Situated on Štvanice Island in central Prague, Fuchs2 presents music and performing arts. Josef Fuchs and Bohumil Steigenhöfer designed the building, completed in 1932 as a functionalist restaurant. It was converted into a disco in the late 1980s and became known at its peak as Face2Face; the disco shut around 2011. Fuchs2 began in December 2018 as a temporary venture, then developed into a lasting alternative cultural space.

Concerts and club events use the principal stage, while Salo, a loft on the first floor, centres mostly on experimental electronic music. It holds 650 people. The building also accommodates Bike Jesus, an alternative music club, and a Clubhouse serving children and teenagers. Promoters behind events there include Fuchs2, Shutdown, FutureForever and phonon~. Artists who have performed at Fuchs2 include mʊdʌki, Alix Perez, Fabio FC and Koherent.
