Gaffe

Gaffe is a club at 1 Anthony Way in Tottenham, north London. Founder Luca Marchal began the project as a club concept in a Soho basement after COVID-19, then used a railway arch off Wandsworth Road for temporary events in 2024. The Wandsworth site became a permanent venue in 2025, opening on 1 February after receiving approval for a permanent licence in January. Gaffe moved towards a new Tottenham base towards the end of 2025.

The Wandsworth venue, also known as Commune Studios, held 150 people and had a Funktion-One sound system. The current site has a stated capacity of about 400. Alongside club nights, the Wandsworth space hosted daytime activities including DJ workshops, photography sessions and yoga classes.

Programming has covered UK bass, techno and experimental club music, with nights run by Sound Story, Soul In Motion, Soul In Motion Ldn and Nachtlicker. Artists to play Gaffe include Grooverider, Kid Drama, Loxy and Hodge. The Wandsworth launch featured Hodge, Danielle and Parris. Some nights involved crews associated with Tempa, RC1 Soundsystem and Vasuki Sound.
