Garagen

Garagen is a concert and club venue on Oskar-Jäger-Straße in Cologne’s Ehrenfeld district. It occupies former employee garages on a Thyssenkrupp industrial site, with the club and concert room once used as a truck garage. The venue began as a temporary use of the site, and its operators have planned to continue cultural activity nearby if redevelopment forces it to move.

The room has capacity for about 500, with a bar area and an outdoor courtyard used as a beer garden. Its programme ranges across concerts and parties, including live indie and hip-hop alongside pop and rock. Garagen runs Trash Island and Back to the 00s, and event promoters there have included SPOOKYBOUNCE, Beats x Bass x Cologne, PLAY! and †onigh†. Artists who have played include Enaly, Gourski, ADEMES and Rosilicious.

A first opening event took place on March 29, 2025, as part of Ehrenfeld XL; Garagen officially opened on April 25 that year.
