Gonzo's Two Room

Gonzo's Two Room opened in 2019 on the second floor of Gonzo’s Tea Room at 68 London Street in Norwich, in a space that previously housed an accountancy office. Mike Baxter and his family bought the building and created the room as a separate, non-commercial venue centred on music. It followed Bermuda Bob’s, a Norwich venue run by Levi de Belgeonne and friends, and de Belgeonne later set up the club with business partner Rikki James. The room holds 200 people and has a Funktion-One sound system.

The music programme spans jungle, garage, grime, breakbeat and house, with events arranged by the venue’s own team and an aim of inclusive bookings for Norwich. Grooverider, Double O, SHERELLE and LTJ Bukem have played there. Residents include L U and Tadi The Great. The club also uses its rooftop in warmer weather and has lasers.

In 2025 Gonzo's Two Room was shortlisted for best venue in the UK and Europe at the BBC Radio 1 Dance Awards.
