Green Works

Green Works is a club and events venue at 16 B, Clothier Rd, in Brislington, Bristol, on an industrial estate beyond the city centre. It began operating in 2022, opening around Halloween. The idea developed after its operators visited a Brislington warehouse used by their dubplate sticker-printing supplier. Founders Chris and Jake also ran Green King Cuts and Green King Sound System.

The main room holds 360, with a separate bar and an outdoor courtyard. Green King Studio, on site, cuts dubplates with a lathe. The opening events used a Funktion-One system, while some later events have used Green King Sound System. Programming ranges across dub, reggae, jungle and drum and bass, alongside other club music; events have included arts and cultural programming. Rolling Out and Burna Records are among the promoters to have put on nights there. Artists who have played include RAYBAY, Braindead, DFUSE and Krust.
