H15 Scene & Studio

H15 Scene & Studio began operating in 2016 inside a former freight hall at Halmtorvet 15, in Copenhagen’s Vesterbro meatpacking district. The warehouse building dates to 1953, and the venue has space for around 250 people. Its activities include club nights, rock and jazz, theatre, art exhibitions, film screenings, food and other cultural programming. Four areas make up the site: Spisestuen, Fragthallen, Studio and Scene.

Studio is arranged for concerts and features acoustic treatment, a custom three-way Arda Audio speaker system, Technics SL-1210G turntables, a Varia Instruments RDM20 rotary mixer and valve amplification. Scene is used for cultural and corporate events. A first-Sunday monthly All-Dayer, hosted by Brian Williamson, Fergus Murphy and Daniel Kaarill, ranges across jazz, soul, Afro, Latin, funk, reggae and disco. Promoters that have held events at H15 include MassF, Decompression, Before The Drop and Active Energy Group. Artists who have played there include Redline Warriors, DJ Lukey, Dwonji, Dr Meaker and depa.
