Hall of Fame is a cultural venue in Tilburg’s Spoorzone, at Burgemeester Brokxlaan 6. It began in 2002, when local skateboarders, musicians, dancers and artists took over a disused swimming pool on Ringbaan-West. The project later moved through the Hasseltse kerk and the Vormenfabriek before settling in a former NS workshop in the Spoorzone. Renovation and expansion started in April 2021; the concert hall returned to full capacity in November 2022, and the rebuilt venue reopened on 8 April 2023 after a closure of more than 1,000 days.
The site brings together a concert hall, skatepark, skate café, rehearsal rooms and other creative spaces. The main hall accommodates 400 standing or 140 seated, while Hall90, the foyer stage, holds 300 standing or 120 seated. The main stage’s PA is built around six Adamson A218 subwoofers and eight Adamson Y10 tops; Hall90 has Pioneer XPRS15 speakers and XPRS 215S subwoofers. Rooms are also available to hire.
Hall of Fame runs its own programmes and gives emerging artists and organisations room to put on events. Its programme spans punk, hip-hop, metal and sound-system music, alongside wider cultural events. Tilburg DJs Guido Sinot and Rowan Barajanan started Boter there in 2017, a club night for alternative styles; Krackfree Soundsystem has also promoted events at the venue. Drum and bass artists to have played include Benny L, Waeys, DOLPHIN and Limewax.
