Helios37

Helios37 is an event venue on Heliosstraße 37 in Ehrenfeld, Cologne, occupying a former Helios AG hall brought back into use for events in 2017. Its club opened with an event on 13 January that year, with plans for concerts and readings alongside club nights. The venue combines the Helios 37 Club, a large hall once known as DQE, and the adjoining Stapel.Bar, which was taken over as an additional event space and cocktail bar. The former DQE hall was intended for exhibitions, readings and performances. The club has a capacity of 280, while the interior can be arranged for concerts, dancing or meetings. A summer outdoor area, the Heliosgarten, shares an urban beer garden with Der Schwarze Hase.

Programming spans electronic music and indie-pop, as well as live concerts; the club has also hosted techno, trance and indie music. Promoters running events there include PLAY!, SPOOKYBOUNCE and Gourski & Friends. Artists who have played at Helios37 include Gourski, Basstripper, Jon Void and LYNE.
