Hidden

Hidden is a multi-room warehouse club at 17 DownTex Mill, Mary Street, on the Manchester-Salford border, near Strangeways. It opened to the public in August 2015, after the Arnaoutis brothers converted a disused cotton mill into a nightclub; Nickos Arnaoutis is its owner and founder. The rooms include the Basement, also known as the Den, the Blue Room, Courtyard and Hangar, with an overall capacity of about 500.

Void Acoustics systems were installed in the Blue Room and Den, and a Danley Sound Labs system was added to the outdoor Courtyard in 2017. Hidden’s programme spans house, techno, garage, jungle and drum and bass. Hit & Run has staged events at Hidden, as have Teletech and Ghosts of Garage. Artists to play the club include T-Man (UK), Hanz, Syntax and Biome. Renovations ahead of the venue’s tenth anniversary in 2025 included a new main-room floor, lighting rig and upgraded Void sound system.
