HVEN

HVEN is an electronic-music and arts venue beneath the railway in Nakameguro, Tokyo, at 1-6-10 Kamimeguro, Meguro-ku. It opened on 9 March 2024, with its rooms spread across above-ground and underground levels. The Tunnel entrance leads through a narrow passage into The Void, the main music space; The Hangar combines a café, bar and lounge, while The Kitchen and The Deck terrace add further areas. The venue’s capacity varies from 100 to 300 depending on the layout. Concrete pillars and industrial pole lights line the entrance, with a compact locker area beside the main-floor entry.

The Void has a Funktion-One system, including Res 2 speakers and F218MK2 subwoofers, with a stainless-steel DJ booth beneath a suspended LED sphere. The sphere measures 1.5 meters in diameter. House, techno and hip-hop feature in its electronic-music programme, alongside art, live performance and experimental events. Artists who have played include HANJŌ, ALLALOON, ceza and Otomono.
