Beside the Singapore River, iki occupies a site formerly used by Home Club and Canvas, venues associated with Singapore’s dance and indie music scenes. Its address is 20 Upper Circular Road, #B1, #01/06 The Riverwalk, Singapore. The space serves as a Japanese izakaya with seating for 150, then shifts to nightclub use; its high ceiling and layout accommodate about 200 people. The name expands to Ikigai Izakaya.

Events at iki have spanned techno, tech-house and trance, with JstBcz Crew, Revision Music, Strange Weather and Darker Than Wax among the crews staging nights there. Artists who have performed include Sam Binga, DJ Storm and Tim Reaper. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, the venue hosted Singapore’s first Anjunabeats-themed night, featuring Genix.
