Indiego Glocksee

Indiego Glocksee is on the first floor of the Glocksee complex at Glockseestraße 35 in Hannover’s Calenberger Neustadt. The independent youth-centre project began in 1972, and the venue has room for around 600 people. Its entrance and courtyard are shared with Café Glocksee. Concerts and club nights feature electronic music, Dark Wave, hip-hop and punk, within a programme spanning live music and alternative and subcultural styles.

Schmittwoch is a Wednesday series for local live acts, concerts and other special events. Benski and Coco Cobra have performed at the venue, as have GLXY and Kyrist. The venue follows an anti-discriminatory and queer-friendly approach, with safer-space aims focused particularly on marginalized groups. Its Care Team comprises awareness and security staff, each of whom has awareness training.
