Inn Deep is a bar in Glasgow’s West End, at 445 Great Western Road beside the River Kelvin. It opened in 2012 on the former site of The Big Blue, as a Williams Bros-affiliated bar run by Inn House Brewing, a sister company of Williams Bros. Managers Amy Williams, Hamish Loutitt and Sandy McMillan were involved from its beginnings.
The venue occupies old railway arches, with indoor and outdoor seating beside the river. A 2017 refurbishment extended the bar across three arches, increasing its floor space and adding heated outdoor seating. Its capacity is about 80. The bar serves Williams Bros house beers alongside changing guest cask and keg lines, and has hosted tap takeovers and meet-the-brewer sessions. Summer seating looks out over the Kelvin.
Inn Deep runs poetry and spoken-word nights, including the resident Poetry at Inn Deep, held there since 2013, as well as a weekly open mic, a Sunday quiz and occasional live music. Its music events include drum and bass and jungle, with nights from Midnight Bass, Good, Symbiosis and Roll Thru. Artists who have played include SOLECTA, Bristol Luke, Hex (UK) and ArthurDnB.
