Iron Cow opened in Orlando’s Milk District in December 2017, occupying a commercial property built in 1954. The project took more than two years to complete, and the venue succeeded the smaller Sandwich Bar, opposite the T.G. Lee Dairy plant on Robinson Street. Its interior combines an open industrial-style room with concrete flooring and block walls. A dance floor, stage and DJ booth share the space with a disco ball and vinyl collection.
Live music and DJ sets have featured in the venue’s programming, spanning house and drum and bass. Its later format included a sushi lounge with cocktails and underground disco. Hulian and NOIZ Events have promoted events there; performers have included BCee, AK1200, Roni Size and Kay-S. After a parking dispute with the City of Orlando, Iron Cow temporarily reopened.
