Ivy House

Ivy House is a bar and nightclub at 44 Jordan Well in Coventry city centre. The site opened as the Lady Godiva in 1964, replacing the Adam and Eve pub. Its rooms included an upstairs bar and a cellar bar, with ticketed discos held downstairs on Fridays and Saturdays from 1985. The premises became Graduates and the Red Square Vodka Bar in 1999, then Rosie Malone’s around 2010, before taking the Ivy House name in 2015.

The venue has a first-floor terrace and a basement club with a built-in DJ booth; the basement has capacity for up to 120 people, while the terrace holds 30 to 100. The whole venue holds about 200. Music there has ranged across electro, nu-disco, bassline, breaks and dub. Drum Fusion has promoted events at Ivy House, and artists to play there include Aries and DJ Ss.
