Jaeger

Jaeger opened in January 2011 in the former Garage Oslo venue, following the closure of The Villa. Its founders were Ola Smith-Simonsen, Kaman Leung and Scott Jacobsen. At Grensen 9 in Oslo, the club has two floors, a courtyard, a late licence and capacity for about 350 people. It hosts DJs nightly and brings in international DJs each week, alongside resident sets and bookings for local artists.

Its music draws on disco, house and techno, while resident DJs play styles ranging from ambient to zam-rock. The Oslo Drum & Bass and Jungle crew Bigup has played at least monthly since 2021. Recurring nights have included Frædag, Mandagsklubben and Sunday Service. M.A.D., a Tuesday night led by residents Mona Blanchard, Axel FU and Dara Woo, began in January 2024, growing from the monthly Wednesday event Frensday. Past performers include Olanskii, Dillinja, Grooverider and Zero T.
