Jh Alleman

Jh Alleman is a youth house at Zandgroeflaan 2 in Oudergem, Brussels. Its youth club adopted the name Jeugdhuis Alleman in 1970, having previously been known as Club 16. By 2019, it had moved from regular open evenings to themed events; nearly 50 members were registered that year, and its activities reached up to 150 young people. In 2023, the former Chiro group left the building, making space for local playgroup activities.

The building includes a basement room with a maximum capacity of 170, alongside a bar and other spaces. Drum & Beer and Bankizz a.s.b.l. have run events there, including a hardcore night featuring artists from Ghent’s hardcore scene. Performances at Jh Alleman have included sets by Arthychoc and Cellarman. In April 2023, its 50th-anniversary events used several areas: bands played in the Lutgardiscollege schoolyard, while the bar and rooms hosted different music styles.
