Jumunjy BAR

Jumunjy BAR is a bar and Thai restaurant at Cury Cross Lanes on Cornwall’s Lizard Peninsula, in The Old Post Office, a 16th-century Cornish stone building that was once Cury’s post office. Jumunjy began on the Thai island of Koh Phangan in 2003 as a bar, later becoming a restaurant and nightclub, and its founders moved back to the UK in 2010. Phansa is the owner and head chef, and the venue holds about 500 people.

Music events run on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, with DJ booths in the bar and in the garden, which has tropical plants, a firepit, seating and a retro Volkswagen van serving as a bar. Nicky Blackmarket, JFB, Ed Solo and A-Sides are among the drum and bass DJs who have played there.
