Karma Crew Warsaw

Karma Crew Warsaw is a bar and community space on Al. 3 Maja 15 in Warsaw, Poland, beneath the Poniatowski Bridge. Founded by Gleb Kowalev, Karma began in Minsk. Following Belarus’s 2020 elections, it moved to Kyiv, then relocated to Warsaw after Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine. Kowalev began arranging the Warsaw expansion in November 2021, and the venue opened on 1 June 2022.

The venue occupies arches beneath the bridge, with a bar, concert floor, tattoo parlour, vegan kitchen, art spaces and an upstairs members’ club; its capacity is about 70. Events span trance, techno, drum and bass, dubstep, riddim and UK garage. Czaraka has promoted events there, and artists who have played include Czaraka, Abuelita and wauneu. Karma Crew hosts benefit parties, tattoo events and vegan-food pop-ups, and organises collections for Belarusian political prisoners and Ukrainian military personnel. The space serves artists and activists from Eastern Europe.
