Kola Club

Kola Club is a music venue at 1 Granada Road in Southsea, Portsmouth, occupying premises that previously housed Moonshine Club and Prohibition Bar. Moonshine began operating in late 2021, before Kola opened there in April 2025. The relaunch followed a change of ownership and a refurbishment, and was undertaken by the team behind Heartbreakers, Papillon and Psych.

The refurbishment provided a sound system for both floors. Kola Club has a live room with capacity for 300 people and a separate nightclub area that can hold 400; its basement is used for club events. The programme spans live music, touring bands, local acts, DJ nights and stand-up comedy, with music including indie, funk and electronic styles. Basement events have featured 140 and jungle. Artists who have played at the venue include Workforce, Duskee and Monrroe.
