Kulturlounge

Kulturlounge is a cultural project space at Dresdner Straße 25, on the corner of Gerichtsweg in Leipzig, where it has operated since 2011. Its association, Kulturlounge e.V., was established in 2005, and Pierre Eichner initiated the project and chairs the association. Rather than working as a conventional club, the space presents electronic music events, concerts and other cultural projects.

Electronic music makes up about 70 percent of its events and concerts around 20 percent, with other formats making up the rest. The team and outside collectives curate DJ nights, and INAR regularly curates events featuring house, techno or minimal. The room holds 60 people. Kulturlounge has collaborated with Leipzig Art Days, 30 Hz has held events there, and Onset and nohlim are among the artists who have played.
