Lab11

Lab11 is a warehouse venue on Trent Street in Digbeth, Birmingham. The building’s restoration began in 2012, and promoter TRMNL opened the club to the public on 31 March that year. It started with two rooms and a terrace, with capacity for about 1,000 people. The site has since expanded into five indoor spaces, a rooftop terrace and an outdoor area under railway viaducts.

The original Warehouse room was refitted in 2020 with a central DJ booth and a ceiling-mounted LED screen. The Terrace, now the largest indoor space, was enlarged in 2015 and later insulated and acoustically treated; its system uses Funktion-One EVO6 speakers. The Basement has a new booth and sound system, while the Greenhouse hosts AFTA DARK, a weekly afterparty. Genesis and UKG360 have presented a 360-degree booth concept there. Artists to play Lab11 include Rossi, Trauma (CZ), Devilman and Majistrate.
