Le 9B

Le 9B is a bar-restaurant-club at 68 Bd de la Villette in Belleville, Paris. It opened in September 2011, launched by the team behind Le 9 Billards and Les Disquaires. Its name recalls Le 9 Billards, a former venue on rue Saint-Maur. The basement then had a DJ booth, playing electro, hip-hop, funk and rock.

The basement club has a bar, a sound system and space for DJ sets and live performances, with capacity for about 150 people. Its programming has included house, electro and techno, alongside quizzes, social gatherings and film screenings. Syrinx Music and Halftones Records have run events there; artists to play the venue include Background, Cyberlife and lucieter. In 2022, Le 9B relaunched in the former Monkey’s premises with the team behind the earlier Le 9 Billards. The well-soundproofed basement has hosted Dee Nasty, OTTO10 and Voiron.
