The Quiet Office presents: Dirty History

Le Bikini stands on Rue Théodore Monod in Ramonville-Saint-Agne, in south-west France. Hervé Sansonetto established it in Toulouse with his mother, Jacqueline; his brother Fabrice later became part of the enterprise. The club began operating on June 25, 1983, in a former nightclub beside the Garonne, with room for about 800 people. An AZF factory explosion destroyed the original building, and concerts subsequently moved to temporary locations around Toulouse. Between its opening and the destruction, the venue hosted more than 5,000 groups.
Le Bikini reopened in Ramonville-Saint-Agne on September 21, 2007, near the Canal du Midi. The present venue has two levels, a flexible concert hall for 400 to 1,500 people, and an outdoor pool that recalls the earlier site. Its programme covers rock, pop and electronic music, including jungle and drum and bass. The Quiet Office, Shotgun and Hospitality UK are among the promoters that have organised events there. Past performers include the Rita Mitsouko and Zebda, alongside drum and bass artists Amoss and Black Sun Empire.
