Little Rockers

Little Rockers opened in October 2020 in Naha, Okinawa, taking over the premises of Record & Music Bar ON. Owner Yusuke Washisu moved to Okinawa to run the venue after taking it over from Yosuke Furukawa; they met at Nagano’s Ringo Music Festival, where Furukawa was an organiser and Washisu a performer. Masayuki Hayashi helped shape the venue, and Tomoyuki Egami of ROCKERS CAFE contributed to its production. The bar carries forward the cafe’s musical approach and sofas. Little Rockers is on the fourth floor of SO Makishi Bld at Makishi 1-20-13 in Naha, inside a triangular glass building that can be seen from Miebashi Station. Its capacity is about 50 people.

Each night, Little Rockers hosts DJ events, parties, exhibitions and dance events, with music spanning house, techno, disco and bass. It serves musicians from Okinawa and elsewhere, and was intended to make music accessible to people unfamiliar with it. Artists who have played there include Char, GENDER-K, LEF!!!CREW!!! and MA-KO.
